The Nellie Stedman Cox scrapbook contains newspaper clippings pasted into an old ledger. The clippings consist of poems, articles, obituaries, and published letters. The topics of the clippings concern current events, politics, and public figures, including William Henry Harrison, Andrew Jackson, and Thomas Jefferson. Due to the dates of the newspaper articles, it is probable that Nellie Stedman Cox did not create the scrapbook herself.
