blue nnd silver, with white chrysanthemums, blue candles in silver candlesticks nnd the fraternity shield in

Alpha XI Delta Tea Dance
The active members of Alpha Xi

Delta fraternity entertained with a
tea dance Friday afternoon at Patterson Hall in honor of their pledges
and in celebration of the football victory over Tennessee.
The football players were guests of
honor nnd the decorations were of
blue and white streamers, Kentucky
banners, and favors of mineature
footballs with the score.
The guests included invited university students, Centre college and
Transylvania students.

Kappa Delta Tea Dance
The pledges of Epsilon Omega of
Kappa Delta entertained Saturdny afternoon from 3:30 to G, nt Patterson Hnll with a tea dnncc in honor
of the active chapter.
Tho hall was decorated in green
and white, the sorority colors nnd the
color scheme wns further carried out
in streamers, ferns, tapers and white
roses. Punch wns served to the
guests from a table in the corner of
the room, decorated with white roses
and lighted by green tnpers. Music
was furnished by the Blue and White
orchestra. About 300 guests were
present.

Mrs. McFarland was a member.
In addition to her activities as a
member of that church, Mrs. McFarland was president of the Christian Women's Board of Missions and
