"DARUMA" LOOKING OVER THE WILDCATS THIS SEASON For the second straight year, a Japanese coach will study the Wildcats' system and when the first day of practice got underway, coach Joe B. Hall called a halt to things as Suehiro Nishio of the Nippon College of Health and Physical Education presented them with "DARUMA," a centuries old Japanese symbol of good luck that began in the days of the Samurai. Ferocious looking "DARUMA," as customary, comes with two blank eyes. The magic of its power is provided when the Wildcats set a goal and each one had a hand in painting in its right eye. As the season progresses, "DARUMA" will cast its spell on Wildcat opponents so at the conclusion of the season, the Wildcats hopefully will have met their goal and "DARUMA" will get its other eye. All of which points to one thing who ever said the Wildcats don't have fun? Oh yes the Wildcats' goals? The SEC and NCAA championships!
