  “Hydr0gen Per0xicZe," containing an excessive amount of
free acid and otherwise below the U. S. P. standard.
”;S'pirrz5 of Odmp7t0r,” low in camphor.
"Glg/cerin,” containing butyric acid, acrolein, sugars and
heavy metals.
"Oitric Aeid,” containing heavy metals and sulphates. -
"Boric Aeid,” containing sulphates and calcium.
"Tinczfure of I0cZine,” not up to the U. S. P. standard.
"Rhenmatic C'ure,” and various other "Positive Cures,"
labeled “A never failing remedy," etc., and with other mis-
statements as to the quality and value of the medicines. p
"Headache Medicines? not labeled to showi the acetanilid
and similar drugs which the law requires to be shown, or con-
taining more of the drug than claimed in the label; or labeled,
“Contains no Morphine," and not labeled to show that the
medicine contains a dangerously large amount of acetanilid or
phenacetin.
"Oold Oures,” not labeled to show the presence of acetanilid
and other powerful drugs.
"Lemon ScZzfzer,,” labeled “Entirely free from all injurious
and harmful drugs," and found not to contain lemon and to
contain acetanilid, a harmful drug.
"Sure Cure for Cholera, Cramps, Dwrrhea,” found to be
a mixture of alcohol, morphine, and chloroform, such drugs
being not cures, but at the most, reliefs.
“F0wZer’s Solution] below the Pharmacopoeial standard.
“Tinctu.re of Ferris C’hZ0ride,” deficient in alcohol.
"Orecmn of Tartar," not up to the Pharmacopoeial standard.
"Brain ReZief," labeled "Cures Headache, Neuralgia, con-
tains no Morphine, Opium, Antipyrin, perfectly harmless, will
110t affect the heart," found to contain acetanilid.
"Grip and Cold TaZ2Zets,” containing acetanilid and labeled
“Perfectly Safe."
