Abstract

Kentucky County Court records is a collection from many counties of Kentucky and includes court records from Virginia and Missouri. Records within this collection date from the late 18th century to the early 20th century. Many records are undated. Within the collection are various types of court records which include court appearance summons, copies of transcripts and judgements handed down by the court.

Biography/History

The Kentucky County Court records contain some of the early cases after Kentucky became a state on June 1, 1792 and document court cases through the Civil War and reconstruction periods.

Scope and Content

Kentucky County Court records is a collection from many counties of Kentucky and includes court records from Virginia and Missouri. Some of these records include court appearance summons, primative form court transcripts and judgement records.
