E. If. DUNN, LL. B. Murray, Ky.
Pres. Henry Clay Law Society.
'' Measure your mind by the shadow it casts.''
Some years ago, the said Edgar Hart Dunn, whose native heath is Murray, in the state of Kentucky, shook the rural dust from off his feet, boarded a grasshopper train and one jump landed in Valparaiso University. After a year of search for knowledge in that already famous school, he left for Oklahoma, the beautiful and there pursued the illusive goddess of knowledge anoj wisdom for two years, in her State Univ. Tiring of pioneering, and the old longing for his first love swelling in his heart, he came back to the Blue Grass to receive his degree and hear '' well done thy loyal slave, enter thou in the realm of peace, where plenty is long-delayed and starvation is ever near."
LUCILE ADAIB GASTINEAU, A. B. in Edu. Middlesboro, Ky.
Vice Pres. Junior Class; Vice Pres. Mountain Club; Varsity Basket Ball Team '11 and '12; Mgr. Varsity Basket Ball Team '12 and '13; Y. W. C. A.
'A smile and a word for every one."
Just got in from the lunch stand. Though I'm an awfully modest lady, I don't mind talking about Basket Ball. I sure am proud of that team. They haven't lost a game this year. You know W. C. and I got that pri7e offered at the lunch stand for couples that went most. They say there's been '' attending" circumstances ever since I came to State four years ago, though I can't imagine what they mean, can you? Kiddo, I want it distinctly understood that I never had a crush on any one. I want people to think I am serious though I do laugh and joke. T may love to dance, yet I'm serious. I'm even a Y. W. C. A. cabinet member.
FRED FARIS, LL. B. Lexington, Ky.
" I '11 concede you that point for sake of argument.''

He received his education in the common schools and on the banks of the swimming holes in the mountains, after which he entered the volunteer service of the U. S. Army, serving in the Spanish American War. Upon his discharge, he entered upon the occupation of a farmer, and began by sowing a crop of oats in nearly every state of the Union. Competition was heavy, therefore-the business unproductive. He then engaged in Matrimony which met with some success one girl 5 years old. In 1911, he began the study of law, ami will be found in his office after Sept. 1st, 1913, some place between the Atlantic and Pacific.
