DB, 6-2, 175, Fr., Henderson (Henderson County): Three-year starter at Henderson County High. . .Used primarily as quarterback during senior season, leading the Colonels to an 8-3 record and District 4-A, Region I title.. .Accounted for more than 1,700 yards of total offense in 1987.. .Rushed for 1,300 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. . .Rushed for more than 100 yards in nine of 11 contests in 1987.. Completed 115 of 230 passes (.500 percent) for 1,331 yards and 16 touchdowns during 1987 regular season. . .Led the Wildcats to an 8-3 record and spot in Ohio state playoffs. . Twice during career threw for five touchdowns in a single game. . Is currently enrolled at the University of Kentucky after transferring in January. . .Rushed for 808 yards on 121 carries (6.67 yards per carry) and scored nine touchdowns in a wishbone attack as a sophomore. . .Helped lead the Golden Norsemen to a 9-2 record and a victory over Hinds (Miss.) in the Mid-American Bowl. . .Broke the Mid-American Bowl record for rushing yards, gaining 244 yards and scoring two touchdowns. . .Was a teammate of UK tight end Charlie Darrington as a freshman. . .In high school, rushed for 3,740 yards during career and scored 62 touchdowns at Wilcox County High. . .All-State as a senior.
