ployed as a teacher by the Lexington city school system.
In addition to his teaching duties, he served as director ot
intramural athletics for Morton _lunior High School. .-\s an
instructor of boys and girls. Frank Dickey knew the im-
portance of building strong, healthy bodies; today, as the
newly-named President of the University of Kentucky, his
interest in maintaining a well—rounded program of athletics
continues. Pictured above with President Dickey are two
other men who through the years have given wholehearted
support to athletics at UK: Governor A. B. Chandler, chair-
man of the University`s Board of Trustees. and President-
Emeritus H. l,. Donovan.
