Any student who shall disobey a lawful command of the a President or of any Professor, Instructor or other superior >, olticer, or behave himself in a refractory or disrespectful man- ner toward either of them, shall be dismissed, or otherwise less severely punished, according to the nature of his offense. ,_ 77. No cadet shall bring any spirituous or intoxicating liquor, H V or cause the same to be brought, within or near the College limits, or have the same in his room or possession, upon pain ,1. of being dismissed, or less severely punished as the Faculty B may direct. Q 78. Any student convicted of visiting a drinking saloon, or a h gambling or other disreputable house, or of being intoxicated, ~ l_ or of gambling at cards or other game of chance, or who shall make, cause or procure to be made, a false official report or B statement in regard to a matter of College duty or government, IS shall be dismissed, or less severely punished according to the ,[ gravity of his offense. 4 -, 79. No student shall play at cards, or any other game of lt chance, within the College limits, or bring or cause to be SS brought within the limits, or have in his room, cards or other W articles used in games of chance. All games and amusements S, of every kind are forbidden during study hours. V SO. All conspiracies and combinations of students, with a lg viewlof violating or evading the regulations of the College, _ 11 are prohibited on pain of dismissal; and any interference of ,1. one or more students with another student, or with a candidate for admission, in the nature of " hazing," shall be punished as ,8 the Faculty may direct. And no student, whether resident in .. the dormitory or elsewhere, shall be a party to any combina , ,8 tion, or sign any petition, remonstrance or protest, for any {L purpose relating to the management, government or conduct of ,5, any department or interest connected with the College or dor- Df mitory, or under its supervision and control.
