lO lalkllere

Jack Feierabend
Chosen President

Adventure as the real basis for
security was the keynote of yesterday's convocation address by Bishop
a
William C. Martin of the
area of the Methodist
church.
Bishop Martin told a large audience that people are motivated by
two urges, the desire for security and
the desire for adventure, two sides
of the same great whole. Only people with a great sustaining conviction can venture constructively and
dependably, he said.
"We must have some real adventuring if we are to hold this social
crder together," he said, adding that
laith in the woith of the individual
has never been maintained apart
lrom a laith in God.
