Kentucky's varsity and freshmen track squads will journey to
Athens for their first dual meet
of the outdoor season against Ohio
University this Saturday.
This will be the first meet of
the year for the Kentucky frosh
and will bring together one of the
strongest yearling aggregations in
UK history.
They will be led by Keith Locke,
the West Virginia schoolboy mile
champ from Huntington. Locke,
tops In the UK freshman crosscountry stable this fall, has traversed the mile In 4:29.3 in his
high school days.
His running mate in crosscountry, Allen Cleaver, former
Kentucky high school mile king,
suffered a broken foot this winter
and may not be ready for this
