University would bear the costs of these service lines during
development except for the first 100 feet from main to meter
which would be at the cost of the Gas Company, as required by
the Public Service Commission. The Gas Company will extend
mains and service lines and the University will grant to the
gas company necessary easements for such extensions.
Thereafter, the Gas Company will be responsible for the
maintenance of the mains and service lines. Permanent
easements granted to the Gas Company would be 10 feet in width,
with a 10 foot temporary construction easement to be used
during periods of construction or repair.

Specifically, standard bills of sale transferring title to the
gas distribution facilities to Columbia Gas Company and
standard rights of way to operate and maintain such facilities
for both Spindletop and Maine Chance Farms are proposed for
execution and delivery to Columbia Gas Company to finalize this
transaction.
