student must take either the regular or special examination but can not enter La
both. If he is unable to pass the examination which he enters, the condition I
_ becomes a failure. The regular examination for the removal of conditions is
held the third week before the end of the term following that in which the Q thi
condition was incurred.

Fees. f0ll
All students who are residents of the State of Kentucky will be admitted
into the University free of tuition.
Students who hold county appointments and who occupy rooms in the
_ dormitories, upon the campus, each pay a fee of $10.00, to cover use of
furniture, service of matron, service of janitor, medical inspection and bene-
fits of the University hospital.
Each student will be required to make a deposit of $10.00, out of which
$6.00 may be taken in payment of a card which will entitle the holder to the tim
following privileges, free of charge, for the year: ,
Admission to all public lectures given under the auspices of the Public 1 $ `
Lecture Bureau, to medical advice from the resident physician, to the use E36
of the University hospital, and admission to all athletic contests and exer-
cises given under the auspices of the University Athletic Association. ·
VVhatever remains, less damage, will be returned to the student at the   Stu

No student will be entitled to expenses of transportation for more than Of ]
one round trip to and from the University each year, and then only upon ‘ tow
