1 he Christmas season is a favorite time tor UK President Dr. Otis Singletary and his family.
Mrs-. Singletary decorates Maxwell Place, the President's home, around the first of December so all the uniyersty students can pass by the house on Rose Street and see the beautiful decorations. This year the outside of
the house was decorated with holly and lighted bushes accented by a huge wreath made by the Kirwan Tower,,
Inside the house candles were placed in every room. A huge poinsetta given to the Singletary's by the Horticulture Club stood-atop the piano.
Every fireplace mantle was accented with candles, lights, and tiny white angels.
