The Margaret I. King Library is the central library. This building is of use
Georgian Colonial architecture and makes available 700 seats in various reading
rooms, stacks, and special rooms. It also houses the Department of Library Hc
Science and the Bureau of Source Materials in Higher Education. The Uni-
versity Libraries, which comprise the central library and all departmental, am
divisional, and collegiate collections, located in other buildings on the campus, PH
contain over 600,000 volumes. These libraries receive regularly more than
3,000 titles of periodicals and are a depository for U. S. Covemment pub-
lications.
