a positive creative out-picture of the UK sports department, I would trust that you keep from publishing those negative letters of viewpoint, who by taking a too personal point of view of Joe B. Hall, and any other "seeming" problem that might arise in UK sports. The nature of those letters derides the attention of why we all read the Cats' Pause.
I refuse to insult Joe with criticism. We've been friends in a unique way for several years. If there has been short comings reflected by him at anytime, it helps in reminding me that Joe is one, in the throngs of millions who are people.
For those of us who truly gain enjoyment in UK sports, "Viewpoint" is a great creative outlet. I know deep down that when one finds fault with another person, that same fault can be found in the originator. With that thought in mind, your publication becomes the psychiatrist and the readers absorb the unneeded tension. I am grateful for The Cats' Pause, and like most UK fans 1984-85 has been an extreme high in UK sports because of the success of football and the amazing story of the basketball cats, who no one expected to be the force they are. Thanks, sincerely, for allowing me to express my viewpoint.
Sincerely,
Dennis Pressnell Englewood, Fla.
