Biography/History

Paducah Junior College was established in 1932 as a private institution. The city of Paducah began to fund and operate the school as a municipal institution in 1936. The college joined the University of Kentucky's community college system in 1968 and changed its name to Paducah Community College.

Scope and Content

These are copies on microfilm of 16 volumes of scrapbooks about the history of Paducah Junior College. The scrapbooks date from 1936 to 1963. They contain newspaper clippings, commencement programs, and other miscellaneous materials.
