eral days ago. I hmnediately took up the question of nalin; tTe
Fitchburg Division of the B. & M., delivery, on the hemp for the Navy
Yard, and wired Yr. Mitchell on February l5th that we could make this
delivery. I have a letter from him dated the l7th, enclosing your
favor of the loth, addressed to him. I wish to thank you for the dp
promise that you will give us sowe of the Navy Yard shipments a lit-
tle later.
If you will kindly noti?y me on one of the enclosed postal

We took this matter up with the Agent of the
F. & C. Ry. at Paris, Ky., as to why this oar was not
billed in accordance with routing instructions shown on
the bill of lading, but have not as yet received a reply.
The other car we are tracing, and will be _

trace the first mentioned car over this line, but we have
requested our New England Freight Agent to look out for
it, and do everything possible to have it delivered
promptly. I wired him again to-day asking if he nad
been able to secure any information,
We are also tracing the other car by wire
and will advise you as promptly as possible date of
arrival, I do not think trat cars going through now A
