Workshop and Tour of Reference Department
V The Education Committee of ACTS is sponsoring a workshop and tour
  in the Reference Department on Wednesday morning, July 26th, at
j 10:00, and on Thursday afternoon, July 27th, at 2:00. After both
K tours, there will be a session for those interested in working
T through some sample reference questions. The tour and instruction
will last about one hour; an exercise that can be completed at any
time will be distributed. Other exercises will be given during
the following weeks for those who want to complete them.
This is an activity designed with the technical and clerical staff _
in mind, but interested professional staff are also invited to

There is still time to join KLA's Special Libraries Section tour of
i England, Scotland and Wales, scheduled for October 7-21, 1978. The
I British Airways jet will depart from and return to Louisville. All
I staff members of the University of Kentucky Libraries are invited,
T as well as their spouses and friends. The August 1 date for the
1 initial deposit of $150,00 is quickly approaching, so call Vivian
i Hall at 8-5730 soon to let her know if you are interested. Total
cost of the tour is $1,350.00 and the features it includes make it
compare very favorably to other tours, ·We hope many of you will
join us. Vivian can give you the details.
The Steam Distribution System will be shut down for annual repairs
