Fayette County Court House. (Printed verso reads: "From 1792-1793 Lexington was the capital of Kentucky. The stone marker in front of the Court House commemorates the birth of the Commonwealth of Kentucky on June 1, 1792. The meeting of the First General Assembly and the inauguration of Issac Shelby as the first governor of Kentucky in Lexington on June 4, 1792. On the grounds is also the statue of valiant General John Hunt Morgan.")
