Old Louisville. (Printed verso reads: "Detail Of Jefferson County Courthouse, Fifth And Jefferson Sts. Designed in 1835 by the nationally known Kentucky architect, Gideon Shryock, this Greek Revival building was completed in 1860, after many delays and revisions. City officials had hoped that the state capital would move to Louisville and occupy the courthouse; thus Shryock cast the building on a large scale and imbued it with sober monumentality.")

Part of Postcard Collection, circa 1890-1990
