Office. The application form _may be obtained from that office.
_ · . However, such admission does not obligatethe University to accept
all credit granted by the undergraduate school. When full credit
- is not granted, the student will be required to do more than the
normal amount of work to complete a graduate degree. Applica-
tions from graduates of institutions not fully accredited will be
individually evaluated. However, a student from such a school is
. encouraged to secure a bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited
institution before applying. _
U , FEES AND EXPENSES
  Fees at the University vary according to the privileges granted
, and the classification of the student; that is, as a resident, non·
_   resident, full-time, part-time, auditor, etc. The table on page 21
*' gives the schedule of regular fees per quarter and term. Checks
p are accepted by the University in payment of fees, room rent, and
X board, if they are made out for the exact amount due. That is, no
money is returned on a check. In transmitting funds to students,
drafts, money orders, and certified checks should be used. All
checks should be made payable to "University of Kentucky? All
fees should be paid at registration and not sent in advance. For
the fees indicated the full-time student receives: class instruction,
health and iniirmary service, admission to athletic contests and to .
‘ convocations, use of the Library and Student Union building, a
discount on admissions to the Guignol Theatre, and a subscription
I to "The Kentucky Kernel," the student newspaper. The University
reserves the right to change the amount of any fee at any time.
Initial Expenses
The undergraduate resident student enrolling in the University
for the first time should be prepared to meet initial expenses about
