These are the records of the Garden Club of Kentucky, dating from its founding in 1931 to 1973.
"The Garden Club of Kentucky, a member of the South Atlantic Region of the National Garden Clubs, was incorporated in 1931. The GCKY is divided into five Districts (Audubon, Blue Grass, Dogwood, Limestone and Mt. Laurel) with approximately 2,000 members. The organization has seven elected officers, five district directors, ten appointed officers and 44 state chairmen to provide help and direction for club development and growth. Chairmanships include: arboriculture, birds, butterflies, civic and environmental awareness, roadside development, scholarship, Woodsy Owl and Smokey Bear, and youth."

These are the records of the Garden Club of Kentucky, dating from its founding in 1931 to 1973. The bulk of the collection consists of presidential records. They include committee minutes, local club reports, programs, membership lists, correspondence, and some newspaper clippings and photographs. Also included are the articles of incorporation and constitution of the Club. There is a yearbook for the years 1932 to 1942, club bulletins from 1943 to 1955, and the financial records for 1931 to 1947.
