- Oral history with Bill Chandler regarding the formation of Owensboro Community College in the early 1984. Chandler discusses the acquisition of land and campus construction. Interview highlights the work of the Citizens Committee for Higher Education in soliciting funds from the state Legislature for a community college in Owensboro. Chandler discusses the role of Don Blandford in the acquisition of funding for the college. Concludes with a discussion on the impact of the college on the community as well as its impact on other area college and universities.
