I Dr. Fred Rankin,.
I Lexington, Ky.
y Dear Fred:
I see that we have a new President. Is¤'t lt I
terrible at times what is thrust off on an unsuspecting
body of citizens. But seriously I did want you to know I
how happy I was to learn of your election. Personally I
I
heartily approve of hard·headed executives, and I am sure
we have one now, particularly when their hard-headedness
is in the rightdirection as I know yours always will be.
This is just a note to prod you a little but most of all
to let you know how much I am pleased at your election
and to extend to you my best wishes as well as my con-
gratulatlons.
With kindest regards and every good wish,
. y dially yours,
    »·*l . MANIER, M. D.
