Dear Fred:
May I repeat my congratulations for your being elected
president of the American Medical Association? It
gives me pleasure to feel that I contributed, even
though in a small way, to your election. The members
» of the Indiana delegation are friends of mine, Doctor
Cameron and I having been friends for years. No
doubt, they will invite you to their State meeting, and
I hope that you will be able to go. The members of
your native North Carolina were boosters for you, and.
are proud to claim you, as are we in Kentucky. I hope
that you have a very successful term of office.
I called Joe Henry, president of the Jefferson County,
and suggested that Jefferson County give a dinner meet~
ing in your honor. We are sure that this can be
arranged, perhaps at the time of the State meeting in
September. _
With best wishes for continued success and all the honor
that goes with the high position that you well deserve,
y I am _ y
_ y Sincerely yours,
