I just want to take this opportunity to tell you that I
am indeed glad that you were unanimously elected to be
the president of the American Medical association. l think
· the association is fortunate in having a man of your ability
and untiring energy as its yresident, and l certainly be-
lieve that your contribution to organize medicine and your
contribution to medical literature certainly entitles you
to the honor which the presidency carries. I trust that
the year as gresident will be the source of much pleasure
and satisfaction and service for you. E ‘
also let me say that l appreciated your coming by and
visiting our exhibit in oleveland. kr. rhillips told me
about it, and l am indeed sorry that l did not have the
personal opportunity of a visit with you at that time.
i did not happen to see you, or i certainly would have
availed myself of this opportunity.
i trust that while you are president of the Association
your duties will bring you to Texas, and at that time you
can pay us a visit.
Nith best wishes, i remain
Sincerely yours,
G. V. Brindley, Mi;5;f&ég§Z"“~~
