Dear Fred: . _ -
I should probably be classed with Rip Van Winkle, but anyway
I just learned yesterday through the University of Maryland Bulletin that
you were President Elect of the A.M.A., and I want to offer my heartiest
congratulations. AI had a notion that this would be coming along for you,
but didn't know it was to be this year. You have certainly earned the
honor, and I know you will be a worthy leader for the Association.
I am still struggling along here in Denver and very happy
with it all. we certainly have a fine set—up and some excellent work.
Trust everything is going well with you and yours.
Sincerely,
