Frontiersman, scout. Kenton, a native of Virginia, lived in Kentucky for more than twenty years. He worked with Daniel Boone and George Rogers Clark and fought in both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.
This is a collection of depositions submitted to a court in Danville, Ky. in a suit over improvements in the neighborhood of a pond on land in dispute between Simon Kenton and the estate of Francis McConnell.
