Bill James, Law Librarian, was the discussion group leader of the Law School
Library Directors Roundtable at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Americmi
Association of Iaw Libraries, June 26-29, 1983, Houston, Texas. The topic
discussed was "Marketing Information Available Through LEXIS and WESTIAW."

A CLR'S ACADEMIC LIBRARY MANAGEMENT INTERN PROGRAM, l98i+—85
l The Council on Library Resources invites applications for the Academic
Library Management Intern Program, l98i»—85. The Program is for librarians
who are interested in taking responsibility for the administratimz of large
libraries and who wish to improve their own management abilities. Individuals
who have high professional aspirations and who have successfully demonstrated
pertinent skills are invited to apply.
Up to five interns will be selected for the l98i+-85 academic year (9 months,
September to May). Each will be awarded a stipend equal to basic salary and
benefits (up to $25,000) for the nine month period. The deadline for applications
is October 3, l983. The names of successful candidates will be announced in
March l984.

  sponsored by the Tennessee Library Association and the Department of Library
I and Information Science, Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, will be
held on September 9-10, in Nashville, Tennessee. Joan Ormondroyd, Head of
Reference and Instruction at Cornell University's Uris Undergraduate Library,
will be the workshop leader.
