85 26. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Comptroller is authorized and directed to pay the Good Samaritan Hospital in the amount of $12.00. It is the expressed understanding that the action on this claim is without commitment as to future action of the Executive Committee on requests for payment of medical and other bills incurred in case of injury to employees and that the Committee does not establish a precedent and does not admit negligence or liability in paying this bill. B1. City of Lexington Given Permission to Connect with Univer- sity Sewer Line on Rose Street. It was explained that the City of Lexington had made a request of' e University for permission to connect the sewer lines from the properties located at 719, 721, 723, and 725 Rose Street to the University sewer line neo-r these properties. It was further ex- plained that the City had a right to connect to this same sewer at the intersection of the street and the sewer line. It was stated that it would be quite expensive for the city to connect at the in- tersection and would require a much longer ditch along the property line and the crossing of Rose Street. 27. Upon motion duly made1 seconded and carried, the City of Lexington is permitted to connect the sewer lines of the properties at 7190 721, 723 and 725 Rose Street to ther University sower line near these properties. C1i Request that Architects Complete Work, The Board discussed the time that had elapsed since the awarding of plans and specifications for the Memorial Field House Auditorium, and the plans and specifications for the Womenl's Residence Hall and the Food Service unit, and stated that it was very desirable to advertise for the construction of these buildings without further delay.
