The church was established in 1790 by four men who had settled near Mayslick, Ky, after emigrating from Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
This is a microfilm copy of the four record books of the Mays Lick United Baptist Church in Jesus Christ. They contain minutes, rules and resolutions, and sketches of the church's history. There are also letters of dismission from a church in Scotch Plains for the four original members of the church.
