Shelby House
WOMEN'S COOPERATIVE HOUSE
Founded at the University of Kentucky, 1934 PURPOSE
Shelby House was the first cooperative rooming house for girls established at the University of Kentucky.   It is organized and run by a group of girls who were formerly 4-H members.
