OB for Oak Ridge teams that were state champions both years, finishing with a  
combined 26-1 record. He was captain of the 1980 Wildcat team. Doug passed for a I 
total of seven touchdowns in the two championship games. As a junior, he passed C 
completed 80 of 124 passes for 1,763 yards and 21 TDs and carried 60 times for 211 » 
yards and six TDs as Oak Ridge finished 13-1. He had a long run of 40 yards, a long `
pass of 77 yards. With the undefeated state champs last year, he completed 63 of ‘
90 for 1,342 yards and 16 TDs and rushed 73 times for 463 yards and seven TDs, `
