that the Traders is the place to save on every purchase, as it is an
established fact that the Traders has it FOR LESS: Our buyer has re-
turned from the East, where one of the strongest and most up-to-date
lines of merchandise" that ever was brought to Oklahoma City was pur-
chased. These goods are arriving daily. No department was neglected.
Each" one receiving its share. We think it can be truthfully said that
no season in the past has shown anything to compare 'with the styles of
1910. And contrary to expectations, THE PRICE IS NO HIGHER THAN
FORMER YEARS—in many instances the price is less than ever before
known.

Miss Laura Clay,

Richmond,fientuchy.
De ;

, I know you will rejoice over the news contained
in the enclosed clipping relative to the very aggr ssive fight
the Federation of Labor mean to put up in behalf of woman
su.frage. Mr.Len5ston, in conjunction with a number of other
influential labor leaders, has promised to stump portions of the
state in behalf of our amendment.’ I look upon their action in
behalf of our amendment as the most important ally we have secured.
Their circular letter is going out broadcast to every candidate,
big and little, and there are thousands of these
him for or against our movement. By the time the Federation of
Labor give this little jolt to our candidates there will be some
fun.

~. I spent Saturday down in Pontotoc COunty, at a democratic
picnic. There were about thirty candidates there for various
‘ state an. county offices. I was a novelty there because very.few

women have spoken at any of the picnics in that vicinity and they
used no really as a drauingcard. The novelty was so successful
hat I have been swarmed with invitations — three or four for the
Fourth of July and a great many others of various dates during

that month. Mrs.8tephens had arranged for me to speak at that
picnic and was busy all day on the grounds distributing literature
and interviewing the farmers. I am elated for the opportunities
afforded by these picnics. I cannot but wish that you were in the
state but I am loath to urge you to come now. fearing you would

be exhausted before Our real hard, clinching work comes in October.

I Speak at the Chautauqua in Oklahoma City July 5rd, at
Wewoka July 4th, Seminole on the 7th, Marlow on the 15th. These
are all picnics. Scattered in between these dates are a number
of schoolhouse meetinss, and I have about concluded to turn the
parlor meetings over %0 local women in the various towns.

Mrs.Stephens W1
