ter or amend the By-Laws, to fix the amount to be reserved,
and to authorize and cause to be executed, mortgages and
liens, without limit as to the amount, upon the preperty and

The Directors may, by resolution passed by a ma-
jority of the whole Board, designate two or more of their
number to constitute an Executive Committee, who to the

of this County,Mr.James Trimble,who was born and reared in
Prestonshurg. When a young man Mr.Trimhle removed to
Catletsburg,Ky. where he shortly becwne Cashier of the:
Catletshurg National Bank,and later Cashier of tne Merchants
National Bank,hoth of which were managed by him in such a

position with the Continental Trust Company of Washington D.C.
Later he was appointed,and is now,a National Bank Examiner
for the District of Columbia. He now has oppurtunity for I
appointment as a member of the Regional Reserve Board
resident at Washington.

He is so well fitted for the
position that I feel that if appointed he will reflect
credit upon Kentucky. 1 am writing to request that you
