My dear Mr. Harkinsz-

as you p:otably know, we hold a $2,800.00
note, executed by J. D. Harkins, Jessie D. Haghins and Jalter
Harkins. This note matured on april 18th. lgr. Joe. D. Harkins
was advised of the maturity of the note, and we have since written
hhu several times and called him on the telephone, with a View to
getting the note curatiled and renewed. We have not been successful
in our efforts, and we can not continue longer to carry this past
due paper in our files.

It will be a hatter of great regret to us to
cause you the 8Xgefl58 and enharrassment of a suit, but unless we can
get a Substantial curtailment and renewal immeiiately there will be
no coarse left open to us but to place the paper in the hands of an
attorney for collection.

We also hold your note for 9750.00, and should
we be forced to glwce the s2,800.00 note in the hands of an attorney
we will place the $750.00 note in process of collection also.

I am writing you for the reason that, as stated
above, Mr. 30s. D. Herkins has not given the matter attention.
