- Biography / History
- J. L. Frazier was the editor of the influential magazine The Inland Printer. The magazine was influential in the fields of art and design circles. Additionally, it helped launch the Art Noveau movement and is known for using different cover designs on each issue.
- Scope and Content
- The Of Time, Type & The Typocrafters supplemental materials (dated 1931-2017; 0.23 cubic feet; 1 box and 1 folder) consist of photographs, printed keepsakes, and publications accompanying the book Of Time, Type & The Typocrafters: A Typographical Reverie with Special Attention to the Life and Work of J.L. Frazier and The Inland Printer compiled by Kay Michael Kramer. There were only 29 copies printed. The book comes with supplemental materials provided by Kay and Virginia Kramer, which include two copies of The Inland Printer, Typographia Two, two photographs, and examples of handprinted keepsakes.
