Scope and Content
The Youth missionary activity book (dated 1910-1915; 0.09 cubic feet; 1 folder) comprises a single handmade missionary activity book for Sunday school juniors at an unknown Presbyterian Church. This book communicates the importance of missionary work in young children and offers guidelines, stories, activities and other helpful information for the soon to be initiated juniors in the Sunday school. The missionary book provides information on Japan including pictures, cultural norms, and greetings; and the missionary work that will be completed by the students while in Japan.
The Youth missionary activity book collection is part of the Wade Hall Collection of American letters, which includes correspondence and diaries from all over North America covering the time period of the Civil to Korean Wars.
