Enlisted for war service in 1860, under Captain Wood. Honorably discharged at Louisville, July 16, 1864. Reenlisted, Dec. 18 1865 served till close of war. Born Nov. 3rd 1840. Died Oct. 24th 1886. By accidental gun shot while hunting. Grandfather of Hazel C. Sharp
