of T. L. Johnson. I notice in the heading of the letter
the suit is referred to as Leiﬁhton-Ambrose vs T. L.
Johnson. Our contract for the construction work on the
North Fork Extension is with Leighton & Company, a partner-
ship composed of Messrs. Leighton & AmbrOee,and it ma; be
possible that if the attachment is made against Leighton—
Ambrose we should make answer that there is no aiount due
that firm, but I presume that we should however hold
sufficient money to satisfy the judgement, in case the
Court holds that the attachnalt remains good against
Leighton & 00mprny.
I have advised Mr. Copland of this attachment
outstanding against Leighton & 00mpeny.
