Please note my letter to loeel Attorney Tollurd of fipril End
and his reply of March 10th relative to right—of—way not yet securefi
thru a tract of lend in Breathitt Count;, the title to which is in the
Otto Germer heir .

ft is desirable that we secure iced for the right—ofray,
and I would suggest that if nracticgble, an agreement be reached with
the Trustee of the heirs whereby we would pay a nominal consideration
for the land taken and enter an agree? confiemnrtiin suit to secure deed
from the Court.

I would be obliged, therefore, if you will euthorize
Mr. Pollard to proceed with such a course. 5e cen use the description
given in the deed which was sent him with my letter of April ?nd in
preparing petition in the case.

by and between William Pratt and Pratt, his wife, parties
of the first port,and the Lexington & Eastern RaiIWay Campany, party
of the second part.

WITNESSETH: That for and in connidorotion of the sum of Fifty-
dollars ($50.00), oaah in hand paid, to the partieo of tho first
part by the pnrty of the second part, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, tho parties of the first pnrt acknowledge settlement
of all olaimo for damngoe to their property lying on eithar side
of and acjoining the right-of—Way of the p rty of the second pnrt
between construction otatjons 3045 and 3072 and acknowledge settle-
ment of any claims which thay may hnvo by re non of the borrowing

Dear Sir:

I shall be glad if you will advise me the correct name
of the company operating a traction line between Lexington and
Winchester which passes under the grade of the Saris and Lexington
Branch, on Mile 96, about five or six miles east of Lexington.

One of the maps sent to this office shows this line as
belonging to the "Inter—Urban Railway" while another shows it as
belonging to the "Blue Grass Traction Company."

I shall be glad if you will also advise me the name of
