-» I enclose herewith copy of letter of the 22nd instant,
written no by Wootton & Morgan in regard to the judgment ronﬁcra
ed in favor of plaintiff in the case of John S. Cembs v. I & H I
R E Co. I also return herewith the judgment rrndercﬁ in this
case, together with the Clerk‘s taxation of costs. ﬁs will be
soon from the letter of Wootton & Iorgan, they advise that the
judgment be paid with the addition of interrst only from August
14, 1935, and say that such payment ”will be satisfactory.”
I had suggesﬁ“ﬁ to them that they secure an amended judgment or
order in the ease allowing interest on the juﬁgmcnt only from
the date on which the judgment was actually rendered. In View
of ﬁhe fact that tho Court is now in vaéution, however, I suppose
they concluded not to wait until the Court holds its next session
but simply got the plzdntiff or his attorneys to agree that in-
terest might be computed and paid only from the actual data of
as
the judgment instead of from January 8, 1913, andrghc judgment
r'oites.
I have apprOVoﬁ the judgment for the payment of $175.00,
with interest from “ugust 14, 1913, and the costs of both plain—
tiff and defrndant. amounting to $17.30.

J. H. Combs vs. L. & E. R. R. Co., pending in the Perry Circuit
