Terrel, Granville, born 1859, died 1963, Professor of Greek and Philosophy 1909-1936, Head of Philosophy Department 1918-1929, and Head of Department of Greek Languages and Literature 1909-1934, pictured in front of the University of Kentucky Administration Building with his horse Katy, he has just arrived from his 19 day 610 mile travel from Louisa, VA to Lexington KY, during his travel he averaged 32 miles per day, his trip lasted from August 26 to September 14, 1927
