Polking, Kirk, Editor of Writer's Digest, Speaker at the University of Kentucky on the subject of free lance writing, students, faculty, staff, were all welcomed by the Public Relations Department, Polking was a full time free lance writer for five years prior to joining Writer's Digest, her published work includes over 100 magazine articles and 4 books, in addition to her talk, she will participate in a discussion session on writing for national publications with writers from the news bureau and publications office of the University of Kentucky Public Relations Department
