- Biography / History
- Rory Barron attended the University of Kentucky in 2017 and majored in Gender and Women's Studies. Barron was a student activist who helped form the Queer Project at UK. In 2017, Barron created a documentary, titled UK Responses to the 2016 Election using oral histories and photographs that chronicled UK students, staff, and faculty's reactions to the election of Donald Trump in 2016. The documentary focuses specifically on the reactions of marginalized groups, such as members of the Muslim, immigrant, LatinX, African-American, and LGTBQ communities.

- The Rory Barron research files and photographs (dated 2016-2017; 1.08 GB; 196 digital files) primarily comprise digital photographs that document University of Kentucky student reactions to the Presidential Election of 2016. The collection consists entirely of digital files include photographs, a flyer, and minutes of a Teach-in on the Trump Presidency held at UK in January 2017. Additionally, the collection includes photographs of other protests in Lexington, Kentucky, including the protest against the Trump administration's Muslim immigration ban held on February 5, 2017. The collection also contains two photographs of flyers for the neo-nazi group, Identity Evropa, posted on UK's campus. Rory Barron used these materials in his documentary, UK Responses to the 2016 Election.

Consists of 13 JPG digital photogaphs documenting student protests on UK's campus and in downtown Lexington, Kentucky in 2017. The majority of the photographs document the Protest the Immigration Ban Rally on February 5, 2017.
