Fundamentalists and Modernists Creation

Introduction

There has been handed to us a copy of the Herald, of
date January 20, 1924. And our attention directed to a ser-
mon preached by the Rev. Hayes Farish of the Woodland,
so called Christian Church, formerly known as Campbellites.
Subject: “Creation by fiat act or orderly growth.” We
read the statement made in said sermon and‘thereby notice,
that the said Rev. Farish was giving a rehash of sermons
preached for some years by self instructed, self created,
Modernist Clergy, which pose as great educators in the self
taught, “Science of Theology”. At the same time there was
handed to us a copy of the Literary Digest of January 5th,
page 31, containing a sermon preached by the Rev. Lee W.‘
Heaton, of Fort Worth, Texas, which included a DENIAL of
the Virgin Birth, etc., said sermons, we hope, will stir up the
people to a due sense of their personal responsibilities, for it
is written, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat
of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in
his body according to that he hath done, whether it be good

or bad.”
THE FACTS

The Rev. Farish said, “The failure of the Fundamental-
ist is he takes the imagery and the traditional dogmatically
as the essential things and demands that everyone accept
this imagery as literally true,” and continues, “Literary and
scientific research show such premise untenable.” We do
not write this to justify the Modernist or Fundamentalist in
regard to the matter in dispute; but entirely with the ob-
ject in view of DEFENDING THE BIBLE from the Insinu-

ating Infidelic! Ironic! insulting! ideas presented in said ser—
mon especially in the words, “Those who claim the six-day
creation idea and insist upon making man a full being by
mixing mud and an arbitrary creator blowing his breath in
his face must renounce our whole Educational System and
refuse to go beyond Imagery of Tradition! Legend! Myth!
and creation by orderly growth! We have a most wonder-
ful fact set forth afterwards about the mixing of clay, and
miracle. John 9:1-41 in V. 7, we read, “Jesus spat on the
ground, and made clay of the spittle and he anointed the
eyes of the blind man with the CLAY of the spittle, and said,
go, wash in the pool of Siloam, and he went his way there—
fore and washed and came seeing.” N’ow, Rev. Farish and
all Modernists, which was the greatest miracle, the facts
set forth about the man BORN Blind, and now about forty
years of age, or the facts of the creation of man in Genesis,
which you so IRONICALLY brand as IMAGERY, TRADI-
TION, MYTH, Creation by FIAT? The Rabbinical Jews
Branded the Messiah of Moses and the Prophets, a sinner,
for curing the man born blind for no reason but that he did
not suit their Rabbi Official Proclivities: Learned from their
Apostate High Priest Eliashib who overturned the good
work of Nehemiah and Ezra, and established ORAL Testi—
mony and thereby “CASTING Moses and the Prophets out”,
and finished his work of destruction by building the great
Synagogue.
See the Rabbi Heresy Identified.

The Gentile Modernist official proclivities, brand the
Bible FACTS IRONICALLY as TRADITION, etc., yet we
do not wonder for in 2nd Thes. 2, where the apostate is most
emphatically set forth and in connection with those latter
days of modernism therein set forth, Paul says “and for
this cause (receiving not the love of the truth) God shall
send them (the modernists) strong delusion that they
should believe a lie; 12, that they all might be damned who
believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
See the apostate identified: 2nd Thes. 2 :3-12.

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

We do not know of any writer upon Bible subjects who
states as we do in everything we write. “The Bible alone
triumphant in matters of faith and religion.” Therefore,
we take the challenge of Rev. Hayes Farish and Rev. Lee

W. Heaton as the spokesmen for all modernists. The found-
ers of our school systems and controlling everything in
sight; even to amending the Constitution of the United
States with apostate ideas. See Amendment 18 and 19, as
directly addressed to‘ us. We therefore accept said chal—
lenge, and know, and will prove, that their whole tirade
against the Bible is an unreasonable, unscientific falsehood!
and in so doing, they are only showing their true character -
as the parties mentioned in the Bible, as the children of the
one exalting himself above the throne of God! as will ap—
pear hereinafter, in unmistakable, uncontrovertable, indis-
putable, sinmple language and facts from the Bible.

THE SCIENCE OF THEOLOGICAL GEOLOGY

The Bible record as to Geology or creation is of a two-
fold character and can be easily seen and known. In the
Bible record neither of them has anything to do or say with
or about the science of life and death as set forth in the Bi-
ble from Genesis to Revelation, for man had not yet been
created: far less to be accused of sin. Yet the very first
thing the theological Scientists do with the Bible account
according to the Rev. Farish and all modernists is to mix up
a strong dish of Hotchpotch with the two distinct creations,
and Adam’s sin as a seasoning ingredient, and serve it boil-
ing hot from pulpit or platform, to deceive the simple, by
virtue of their license to preach the theological Gospel of
the apostate. They entirely overlook and ignore the fact,
that, as you cannot successfully mix iron and clay, so neither
can the Theology of the Serpent mix truth and error. But
by lying, and that old Serpent, the Devil, is the father of
LIES. ? .

FIRST BIBLE ACCOUNT OF CREATION

The Bible account is just an introduction to the events
which are recorded after as to the creation. The introduc-
tion of sin and death and God’s remedy for sin! until the
third creation set forth in the apocalypse, and each of the
matters must be kept separate and distinct and apart just
as they appear in the Bible; in order to get the facts. The
first is contained in twenty—seven words as follows: “In the
beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and the
earth was without. form and void. And darkness was upon
the face of the deep.” As the object of the Bible was to
show forth the second creation, as also the introduction of

sin and God’s remedy for sin. Therefore it is entirely ir-
relevant to the question of sin or death or God’s remedy for
fallen humanity. That there may not have been existences
in both earth and water of any or'many kinds cannot affect
the Bible record one jot or tittle neither the questions as to
whether it took one thousand or one million or one billon
of years, and the modernists in creating such a fuss over
such an untaught question identifies their Progenitors as
willfully appear in “The Apostate Identified.” See it.

SECOND BIBLE ACCOUNT OF CREATION

The second Bible account embodied in the first six
days of alternate Light and Darkness of twenty-four hours
each day as being a day of twenty—four hours, commenced
in the miracle of FIAT as “the Spirit of God moved upon
the face of the waters”, of “darkness”, and “Without form
and void.” And presently we are informed that God said,
“Let there be light, and there was light. “And God saw the
light that it was good, and God divided the light from the
darkness. And God called the light day, and the darkness
he called night. And the evening and the morning were the
first day (of twenty-four hours).” Let us notice the con—
nection here with the whole Bible, till the last amen in the
Revelations. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him
MUST worship him in Spirit and in Truth!” The whole
Bible account of the creation of a home for imperial man till
the New Home to be by and by. See Revelatibns, Chap-
ters 21 and 22. And in every age in the world’s history of
sin and of death, and resurrection and life, each one always
begins in Miracle by the FIAT of God embodied inrthe opera-
tion of the Spirit of God. See Moses and the deliverance
from Egypt; The Jewish age: See the Messiah in the Gos—
pels; The Messianic age: See the apostolic age (the sent
ones) as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles and in the
Epistles; and as each was begun in Miracle, each ever after
continued under the Rule and Reign of LAW. So it was, and
is today 1924, A. D. Each day voices the creation as set
forth in the first chapter, of Genesis. In every particular and
in every event, Whether it be the vegetable or the animal
kingdom, each began in Miracle under the MOVING power
of the Spirit of God. And ever after in the marching order
and Rule and Reign of Law as to the same, Whether of Mind
or Matter; or sin, life, death or resurrection, as set forth in

THE INTRODUCTION OF SIN

The next important matter in this connection is the in-
troduction of sin: and it has no history in its inception, ex-
Cept as set forth in the Bible: and the history therein con-
tained is exactly a precursor of the history as set forth in
every history in the world after, whether it be the Heathen
History, Infidelic History, National History, Atheistic His-
tory, Genostic, Etc. Yet, the most accursed of all history;
to Humanity, and the Bible as the Word of God, has been
and is today, 1924, A. D., the History of the Apostates or
Hereciarchs. These are of a fourfold character in this con-
nection and cover the history of the world from the begin—
ning in as far as it relates to the worshipping of God, ac-
cording to the Revealed Command of God, or man to take
adopt and adhere to the way of Cain, the first apostate,
Eliashib the Jewish apostate, or Diotrephes the Gentile
apostate, or Judas of the Messianic age.

THE FIRST ACCOUNT OF WILL-WORSHIP TO GOD

We have no detailed account in the Bible as to God’s in—
struction to Adam and his immediate family, yet, we have
sufficient from the history to lead us to know that they
were fully instructed. The first account is in Genesis 4:3.
“In process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of
the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And
Abel he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the
fat thereof.” And then we are informed in verse 4, “And
the LORD had respect unto Able and to his offering. 5. But
unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.” The in-
formation in God’s reasoning with Cain because of his anger
is found in verse 7, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be ac—
cepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.”
Indicating thereby that Cain had full knowledge of the fact,
that, “Without shedding of blood is no remission.” Heb.
9 :22. Yet instead of reasoning according to the advice and
will of God and rendering worship acording to the command
of God, he rose up against his brother and slew him. The
Apostle Paul in referring to the fact says, Heb. 11:4, “By
faith Able offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than
Cain by which he obtained witness that he was righteous,
God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead, yet

a as

see at

speaketh.” The question herein evolved is that Able exer—
cised faith in God’s way to acceptable worship, and God tes-
tified thereto by his acceptance. Cain would also worship
God, but, he would worship GOD in his OWN WAY, hence
was not accepted. The Apostle John in drawing a lesson
upon the question of “LOVE,” says in John 3:12, “Not as
Cain (loved) who was ofthat wicked one, and slew his broth—
er. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works
(of worship, according to HIS OWN WILL) were evil and
his brother’s righteous according to the commandment of
God.” Jude also draws a lesson from Cain and says, v. 11,
“Woe unto them (who crept into the church of Christ for
gain as godliness) for they have gone in the way of Cain,
and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and
perished in the gainsaying of Core.” After a hundred and
thirty years, Adam had another Son and there are two
very important facts associated with his birth. First, “as
being in his own likeness, after his image; and called his
name Sethz” Gen. 5:3 and second that Seth in process of
time had a son named Enos: “then BEGAN men to call
upon the name of the Lord.” Gen. 4:26.. It would seem
therefore that for about 200 years after the murder of
Able, men did not call on the name of 'the Lord, except per-
haps to call upon Him in Cain’s way, will—worship, which
was not then recognized by God; never has and never will
be. The 2,000 years of the Adamic age were beginning to
close and finds the self evident fact existing that man in his
self imposed will-worship after the form and order of Cain,
“That the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and
that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was
only evil continually in worshipping God‘ after the way of
‘ Cain.” Gen 6:5, Matt. 24: “Under these circumstances

with only one man, Noah, stemming the flood of iniquity,
“God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh is come before me;
for the earth is filled with violence through them; and be-
hold I will destroy them with the earth.” Gen. 6:13. The
very great catastrophe in the flood ended the mad career of
the inhabitants of earth. Gen., 7th chapter. We arevnot in-
formed of the exact trouble unless in the words of the Christ
in the history of the flood as set forth afterwards in very
emphatic language by the Christ. “As the days of Noah
were so shall the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that
were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marry-

sfi gfi

ing and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah en—
tered into the ark 39 and knew not (because they refused
the testimony of Noah the only preacher for Abel’s way of
worship) until the flood came, and took them all away; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Mat. 24 :37-39.
In View of the above prophecy of the Christ, as to the state
of the Religious World, when he comes again, we cannot ex—
press our astonishment at the Self—Will-Worship manifested.
The cry of the professed religious world has been, especially
since 1901 A. D., join the church, and take Cain’s way. The
way of Korah and Abiram against Moses and Aaron to form
a Will-Worship! The way of the apostate High Priest Elias—
hib in his ORAL TRADITION as Heresiarch to'the Jews,
and the building of his great Synagogue, the patron of all
Synagogues since! And now Diotrephes.” The Apostate!
The Man of Sin! The Son of Perdition! The lawless one! of
Paul, 2 Thes. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God (in the professed church of God) or that
is worshipped; (as God ought to be worshipped) ; so that he
(Dio.) as God sitteth in the temple (church) of God- shew-
ing himself that he is God.” He was appointed by Paul
over 30 years before (he exalted himself) as leading Elder
in the church of God and of Christ at Epesus, Asia Minor.
The highest office in said church. There were no Rev.
Fathers in the church of God, until Dio, took his self-cre-
ated seat, in his Self-Created Office, as Rev. Diotrephes,
and now also instituted his Self-created Will-Worship, after
the way of Cain, and ran Greedily after the error of Balaam
for reward and (at the appointed time) will perish in the
gainsaying of Korah.” This apostate, of the apostolic age,
commenced his mad career and tirade of “malicious words” ‘
against the apostles and “cast them out”, and also those who
spoke well of them; Regardless of the words of Jesus to his
apostles, (sent ones), “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that
receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me (the Christ) and
he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me, (My
Father God).” Dio. was the first Elder in the church, of
God who succeeded in casting the apostles out by receiving
them Not! And in so doing he cast the Christ out also.
And in casting out the Christ he also cast out Jehovah, God.
Dio. was known to the church at the close of the first one
hundred years, after casting the apostles out about A. D.
100, as Father Dio. When the church of Dio. appeared and

took root at Rome he was known as the Father of the R0-
man Catholic Church. During the various Reformations
he was known as the Father of the various Reformations;
and now 1924 he is adopting a new name as the Father of the
Modernists, of which Rev. H. Farish and the Rev. Lee W.
Heaton are leaders; and cast the Bible out, and with it the
apostles out also, the Christ who commissioned the apostles,
and with them the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For a fuller account see “The Apostate Identified.”

Yours for the triumph of the Bible as the word of God,
and as containing his only Message of Mercy and peace to
fallen humanity against all earth and creeds of the Dioites.
