- Robert Mosby served as a Judge for the Court of Quarter Sessions in Mercer County, Kentucky, starting in 1798.
- Scope and Content
- The collection consists of the printed appointment of Robert Mosby as Justice of the Court of Quarter Sessions for Mercer County, Kentucky. The document, dated January 2, 1798, is signed by Governor James Garrard and his secretary of state Harry Toulim. On the back of the document is a handwritten note indicating that Mosby took the oath of office from Willis E. Strong, Justice of the Peace, on February 25, 1798.
