Biography / History
The Appalachian Alliance, Council of the Southern Mountains, David Community Development Corp., Highlander Research and Education Center, Human/Economic Appalachian Development Corp., Kentucky Fair Tax Coalition, Southern Organizing Committee for Economic and Social Justice, and Southern Poverty Law Center are involved in and organize various political, social, and economic campaigns to improve and provide aid to the Appalachian region.
