- Nora Hackett Gayle was the wife of onetime Kentucky Congressman June Ward Gayle.

- The library holds the original of the fair story in 56M139. This microfilmed collection consists of a typescript story about an old-fashioned fair held in New Liberty, Ky, an 1833 issue of THE CROSS AND BAPTIST BANNER, and a printed copy of a speech given by Thomas Jefferson in 1801.
